Meet Our Sisters

Here is your oportunity to meet some of the Sisters in our Congregation.

Barb Kwiatkowski, OSF, Vocations Director

I was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio and entered religious life as a Joliet Franciscan when I was 24 years old. The decision to become a sister was something that took a lot of time, prayer, and patience as I tried to figure out what God wanted me to do with my life. I was blessed with people both before and after I entered religious life who supported me, asked me thought provoking questions, prayed with and for me, and helped me to figure out what God was asking of me. As Vocation Minster, I now try to provide these same things to women who are discerning the call to religious life themselves. In addition, I try to make people more aware that we all have a call and vocation, whether that is as a married person, single person, priest or religious. Much of my ministry is spent on the road, talking about vocation and our Franciscan way of life to parish groups, grade schools, high schools, religious education programs, colleges and adult ed and senior citizen groups.

More to come...
