Sister Barb Kwiatkowski, OSF
“As Campus Minister at Joliet Catholic Academy, one of the most rewarding opportunities to share faith and watch students grow spiritually is our Kairos retreats. The retreats focus on the students’ relationship with God and others and how they are growing as a person.
I don’t believe I will ever grow tired of sharing such an experience with people who are searching for the meaning in life or of watching them grow and gain confidence in who they are as persons.
The students keep me young. ”

Sister Mary Lou Marchetti, OSF
“My volunteer experience at Daybreak Shelter has allowed me to be involved in a ministry of presence to the homeless once again. It is a sacred privilege to listen to those who are homeless and to offer encouragement and prayer that bring them hope and the assurance that God is with them. … Everyday we are given a new start.”

Sister Jeanette Willenborg, OSF
“This is my 42nd year of being a classroom teacher and the ways of teaching students have constantly been changing!
I strive daily to bring Jesus to the students and to the faculty who share with me the responsibility of showing Jesus to the students and their families. Please pray for all teachers as we always try to discover the best way to work with every child entrusted to our care.”

Sister Lois Prebil, OSF
“When people ask me what my ministry is, I usually say that it has two parts. One part, the major part, is working with anti-racism through the Archdiocese of Chicago. The other part is organization development consulting which is primarily done with church groups, schools and religious congregations! That’s the short answer.”
